Transportation Security Administration - Overview and Free Services Offered
 
With drivers and companies hauling valuable cargo and hazardous material shipments throughout the United States, there needs to be protocols and policies in place to ensure the freight being hauled is done so in a safe and secure manner.
 
During this presentation, TSA will explain the free services they offer to carriers to improve safety and security while hauling freight.

Presenters

J Bagley is a program analyst in Region 4 of the Transportation Security Administration headquartered in Dallas, TX. 
 
He was appointed to this position in August 2020. Prior to this position, Bagley was a surface transportation security inspector in the William P. Hobby Surface Operations Field Office since January 2011. In his current role, Bagley is responsible for conducting and facilitating executive level outreach for the regional security director along with development of regional security plans and the regional response framework. 
 
In his role as a transportation security inspector, he was responsible for ensuring security compliance of persons and transportation systems/entities regulated under Title 49 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR). He also assisted in the administration of critical, complex compliance and enforcement programs designed to ensure secure transportation and protect the nation's public from terrorism, piracy, or other acts of sabotage to transportation systems, facilities and networks.  
 
Additionally, Bagley administered transportation security initiatives across the nation's transportation system; coordinated preventative measures, safeguards, and rapid response initiatives ensuring the secure and free flow of transportation assets across the nation and preventing instances of terrorism or other incidents. Prior to working for TSA, Bagley served in the United States Air Force as a security forces senior noncommissioned officer for 23 years until his retirement in September 2007.

Vincent J. Bossi joined the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in December 2011 as the field intelligence officer (FIO) who provides direct intelligence support to the federal security director and federal air marshal for the state of Arkansas.  
 
Prior to joining TSA, Bossi had a 25-year Army career; first as an active duty soldier, and later as a Department of the Army civilian. Vincent served on the deputy chief of staff for intelligence (G-2) Pentagon staff in support of worldwide contingency operations for over four years. Prior to his work at the Pentagon, Bossi served on active military duty for over 20 years, as a United States Army paratrooper and signals intelligence foreign language analyst, proficient in the Persian-Farsi language. Highlights of Bossi's military service include serving in the XVIIIth Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, NC; the National Security Agency (NSA); the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center; the 82nd Airborne Division; and 3rd Special Forces Group. Vincent earned a bachelor of science degree in strategic intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College in Washington, D.C. Bossi is an Arkansas native and lives in Bethesda, AR, with his wife and daughter.
