Event Description:
Register for the second quarter meeting of the Arkansas Trucking Association Accounting & Finance Council at ABF Freight, 3801 Old Greenwood Rd., Fort Smith on May 2 at 10:30 am.
Topics will include compensation and benefits benchmarking for driver and non-driver positions and preventative measures for avoiding Vendor Email Compromise cyber attacks.
Participants will
- review the results of the 2023 Trucking Benchmark Survey
- receive insight on driver compensation, non-driver compensation, bonus structures and benefit packages
- discuss Vendor Email Compromise (VEC) risks
- learn preventative measures before a loss occurs from a VEC cyber-attack
In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must be present, register your attendance and departure on provided attendance sheets at registration desk.

Session 1: Employees Benefits Benchmarking

Jamie Bishop and Jill Lange, Cottingham & Butler
As vice president in the employee benefits division, Jamie Bishop works in conjunction with clients to develop and implement short term and long term strategies for their employee benefits programs. Bishop has been with Cottingham & Butler since 1997 and has been working in the employee benefits division since 1998. She enjoys the opportunity to work directly with her clients and in the marketplace. Prior to joining Cottingham & Butler, Bishop worked as the director of marketing at an OEM Company and as a marketing manager for a collectable toy company.
Jill Lange is an account executive in the employee benefits consulting practice at Cottingham & Butler and has been with the organization for three years. Currently, Lange leads her experienced team on providing solutions for employers in the areas of cost-containment strategies, creating HR efficiencies, compliance needs, alternate funding methods and much more. Lange’s top priorities include new business development and overseeing the relationships with existing clients in helping to build strategic employee benefits programs.
Session 2: Cyber Security: Vendor Email Compromise

Ted Clouser, PCA Tech Solutions
Ted began in the technology industry at the age of 16, starting his first computer company. In 1996, he joined what is now known as PCA Technology Solutions. He and his wife, Stephanie, bought the company in 2018. Ted oversees PCA’s regional footprint and is passionate about both people and technology. His firm focuses on helping small and medium businesses to have world class I.T. Whether that is in Cyber, Consulting, Managed IT, large IT projects or Data Communications, his team is equipped in “all things technology.” Ted recently found that he loves to educate the public as an I.T. expert in complex topics that we all need to understand and know. He can be found giving his input on national and local radio and TV. as well as editorials. Ted is active on LinkedIn where he enjoys writing original content, engaging in the I.T. community and helping to encourage others to “Go Win the Day.” Ted has recently earned his CISSP to broaden his understanding of the cyber world and all that it consist of for business today.
