SESSION 1: CAN SOLAR BE A BRIGHT SPOT FOR YOUR FLEET?
Presented by
Larry Rambeaux
Sales Application Engineer
Purkeys
When asked how he got started in the industry, Larry says it was an accident! However, it was a happy accident, and Larry has been contentedly working at Purkeys for 28 years. It all started when he stopped by Purkeys one day simply to see a friend and ended up accepting a job.
Larry has done everything from tearing down and rebuilding starters and alternators, to basic product delivery, managing a store location, and managing sales accounts. As he has learned and grown in the trucking industry, Larry began attending TMC and has become an important part of that organization. In 2013 he received TMC’s Recognized Associate Award, and in 2019 he was awarded the Silver Spark Plug award.
Helping fleets resolve issues is Larry’s favorite thing to do. He loves it when he is able to provide an existing solution to an electrical issue or help create an all-new solution.
SESSION 2: TRENDS SHAPING THE COMMERCIAL VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INDUSTRY
In the afternoon, Kevin Bailey, of Noregon, will present on recent trends in maintenance shops, including the necessity and efficiencies of using software diagnostics.
SESSION 1: CAN SOLAR BE A BRIGHT SPOT FOR YOUR FLEET?
In this presentation, Purkeys' Larry Rambeaux will share his insights on adopting solar products. With all the pressure of green initiatives, lowering maintenance cost and improving uptime, solar can be a bright spot in your operations and maintenance to keep your fleet on the road making money.
