His areas of focus include supporting state partners and providing oversight for all FMCSA grant programs. Grigg began his carrier with the FMCSA as a safety investigator\, conducting investigations on motor carriers. Before joining the FMCSA in 2015\, Grigg honorably served in the United States Air Force with deployments to the Middle East and South America.\n\n\n\nA Teachable Moment: Alternatives to Termination Panel\n\nDue to the tight labor supply\, carriers today may consider coaching drivers with previous poor safety performance. He is also a passionate advocate for STEAM education\, serving as chair of the Board of Directors for the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock in 2018 and 2019 and presently serving on its Capital Campaign Committee. Jackson graduated from Hendrix College in 1989 and Duke University School of Law in 1992. \n\n\n\nCargo\, Engine and Everything In-between Security\n\nCargo theft has seen drastic changes over the past couple of years\, putting carriers on alert. Impacts range from concerns around the Food Safety Modernization Act regulations and broken seals to availability and shortages. Asset and cargo theft\, hijacking and pilfering costs shippers and carriers millions every year and are on the rise due to highly organized criminals. This session will go over how such losses can be prevented with the use of GPS tracking\, recording and monitoring devices\, adding integrated vehicle and cargo access security solutions and more. \n\n\n\nPresented by Mark Landry\, CEVA Logistics\n\nMark Landry has spent 25 years in the security industry\, leading various domains within security. He spent 20 years at FedEx initially in the investigations organization. His last seven years at FedEx he stood up the Corporate Strategic Security Organization. Under his leadership\, he developed enterprise-level solutions to evaluate\, develop and test new security technologies to mitigate constricting security manpower resources. This organization was paramount in bringing security analytics\, robotics and automation to protect the people\, assets and brand of FedEx. Landry also received the prestigious FedEx Five Star award during his tenure as well as achieving expert level for Quality Driven Management. For the past year\, he has been the senior director of global security transformation at CEVA Logistics. In this role\, he is responsible for all aspects of strategic security initiatives. This includes developing minimum security standards\, evolving enterprise security risk metrics\, retrofitting existing security technology and developing new security technology. In this role\, he is also responsible for standing up a global security operations center that will serve as the key intermediary for all aspects of strategic security for CEVA Logistics. Landry holds two master's degrees\, one in security management and an MBA.
